Terms of use
Last updated 29 October 2026
1. Who we are
dekota.org and Dekota are provided by Svayam Incarnation Limited ("we", "us"), registered in England and Wales with company number 15228262, registered office 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
2. These terms
These terms cover your use of dekota.org and of your account on it. By using the site or signing in you agree to them. If you use Dekota for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.
The hosted plans (Dekota Cloud, Dekota Managed and Enterprise) are not on sale yet. They will have their own terms, which you will see and accept before you can order one. Until then nothing is charged.
3. Your account
You create a Dekota account with your email address and sign in with one-time codes we send there. Today the account holds your profile and your place on the Dekota Cloud list. You need to be 16 or older. Keep your email account secure, because sign-in codes are sent there. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
4. The Community edition
The self-hosted Community edition is open-source software. When it is released, its licence (the Apache License 2.0) governs how you may use, copy, change and share it, and it comes without warranty as that licence says. You run it on your own servers and are responsible for them and for what you deploy.
5. Using the site fairly
Do not misuse the site or our services. That includes trying to break or get around security, overloading the site, sending spam through our forms, collecting other people's data, or using the site to break the law. Security research is welcome under our disclosure rules.
6. Names and content
Dekota, the Dekota logo and the content of this site belong to us, except open-source code and third-party names, which belong to their owners. Coolify is a project of its own authors; Dekota is based on it under its licence. You may link to any page of this site.
7. Changes and availability
We may change the site, these terms or what we offer. If a change to these terms matters for you, we will say so on this page and, if you have an account, by email. We aim to keep the site available but do not promise it will always be.
8. Liability
The site and the waiting list are provided free of charge and as they are. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, you keep your statutory rights.
9. Ending
You can stop using the site and ask us to take you off the waiting list at any time. We may suspend or close access to the site for anyone who breaks these terms.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you may also bring proceedings where you live.
