About Dekota
We build Dekota because we needed it ourselves.
Our own products run on servers we choose and manage. Hosted platforms were easy to start with and expensive to grow on, and doing it all by hand took too much time. Dekota is the tool we use to deploy and run our own software, and we are opening it up for others.
Dekota is based on Coolify, an open-source project under the Apache License 2.0. We add our own console design and a release process in which the console never updates itself, and we are building hosted plans for teams that would rather not run the console themselves.
